I did not come home Thursday. My flight was canceled in Philly so I don't come home til like 11:30 Friday now. I am actually near Baltimore with my boyfriend Kevin. His parents wanted to take me because it would be easier to fly out of their airport because we were expecting snow back at Penn State Thursday night. So I leave around 5 pm and get in kinda late, but at least I won't get stuck at campus when they close it down. I hope to see everyone soon!!!!

Wow. I have posted anything in a while and so much has happened even just within the last two weeks.

So, I won't be home for Thanksgiving. It is too expensive to just fly me home for a week so I won't be back til Xmas.

Anyways, in the past 2 weeks I have been to New York City, Phoenix, and soon to be random places in Maryland and Virginia. I love traveling and not having to pay for anything but my meals. That has been how all my trips were.

I enjoyed going to NYC even though it was the weekend We (Penn State, football is a big deal here) lost to an unranked team and it flashed across one of the screens as soon as we went to the city that night. It was a lot of fun just walking around and hanging out with basically all my non freshman friends. We went there to raise money for THON(basically helping kids with cancer). I had a lot of fun even though we just stood outside holding cans. I was able to balance mine on my head, which earned me some extra money, lol. It was fun though. I wish I had the pictures, but I left my camera back at home so I'll post them once I get them from everyone else. The drive was long, but well worth it, plus I had homecooked Spanish food in Long Island. I can't even describe everything so I'll just stop there.

I went to Phoenix for a SHPE Conference. I did not sleep for 72 hours. It was crazy. The only reason I didn't sleep was because I didn't sleep the night before because of packing and making sure everything was in order, I didn't sleep on the flight, when we got there events were already going on, I was selected for a competition called EXTREME ENGINEERING (24 hour competition in which we are to design and present our design that will deliver water to Latin American villages, after the competition everyone went out, and once again no sleep because we didn't get back til sometime in the morning when we had to start getting ready. It was SOOOO much fun. The company that selected me basically told me I am guaranteed an internship this summer if I want it. Also, I met with some of the companies there and I have interviews with the CIA, Lockheed Martin, ARDEC, and Raytheon (My team). I couldn't believe any of these organizations wanted to meet with me because most don't really want freshman interns so I am really excited. Also, I got to see one of my best friends because he goes to ASU so that just made my trip even better. It really was such a great experience going to the conference. It helped so much with networking and potential internships this summer.

Right now I am back at Penn State with wonderful snowy weather. Nothing has sticked, but I love that there is actually snow. It is crazy how bundled up I have to get already. We still go out though and have fun. I learned how to salsa and do other Spanish dances plus some fancy looking spins. We went out to this place downtown that has salsa night and it was a blast. It could be because we all took shots before going, but who knows. Now I have to pack and I only got back Monday so I just left some things in my suitcase that I knew I would need when I go home with one of my friends.

I loved seeing all of you again!!! It was a lot of fun. I definitely won't forget anything that happened while I was home. I am already looking forward to coming home for Christmas and seeing everyone again <3 Everyone have fun while I'm gone and don't get in too much trouble ;)

I have finals this week :( BUT I leave with a 4.0 to start off with in the fall so it isn't so bad. I am excited for Saturday!! I can't wait to see everyone so we should make plans heart <3... I am going to apologize in advance for weird things I may say now. I think I might have picked up "YALL" Yeah... crazyness. Well I am off to study for calc.

I am so excited we do not have class tomorrow... So so happy. We are going to hershey park so that will be fun... as long as I do not get sick. Plus a lot of us plan on sleeping in the commons since it is air conditioned in there. It has been hot lately. Not fun, but it is still good. Things are always interesting here. Rumors spread pretty fast. I participate in too many Mexican activities here. We fit 10 people in 5 seater car. It was crazy. I'm pretty sure we exceeded the max weight limit. Classes actually aren't too bad. I'm doing better than some people that have taken the courses before. I'm shocked I have a high B in Calculus considering I never took it. Well I should work on homework so I don't have to do as much Wednesday and Thursday.

Oh my goodness there is always something going on over here. Between homework and all the activities going on it is crazy. It is fun though. Well not the homework part, but I'm getting it so that is good considering I haven't taken chemistry and such. I am excited. Arts Fest is this weekend!!!! Concerts, art, crafts, and all sorts of cool stuff is going on. Plus I did all my homework in advance so I can enjoy the weekend. I miss everyone! <3

Okay, so last night at 3 in the morning, some of the guys came into our room being loud. I didn't think anything of it, but my roommate did. I knew it was some of the guys in our group so I didn't care. The reason why the came in was to wish me a happy birthday, but they forgot who my roommate is. She ratted them all out about coming in and drinking and going to frat parties. Not cool. She didn't realized til much after she told that they came in because of me. Now we have a curfew and everyone is mad at her. Ah. 6 days only and this.

I cannot even say how much fun thursday night was. So many crazy stories. Amazing maybe scary. I'm tired so I'm going to go, but I am going out with all my friends from here after a planned hike on my birthday. It should be even better than last night. It is great. No one messes with our group because pretty much everyone is black or at least looks like a minority. Anyway good night and I miss everyone!

I am finally all settled in my dorm with my roommate and internet. Shockingly, I think my roommate is more organized than me. That is just a bit scary. She is also very adherent to her mother even though she isn't here, but I guess that is a good thing. It has been so much fun though. There is something to do everyday. I am pretty sure I haven't seen more than a few hours of sun at a time. It doesn't necessarily rain, but it is usually cloudy. It is gorgeous out here. It is clean and green. It is amazing. Well, I am going to go for now.

I am so glad I'm an organized person. It makes figuring out what I'm taking a lot easier. I pretty much have everything set up to pack. Just figuring out how to fit things is going to be difficult, but luckily my brother works for a packaging company so he will come in handy. A lot of things I'm buying there though to eliminate taking everything. It still feels so weird though. I'm almost down to a week.

Anyway, I was excited to find out my cousin is living in NY so he'll be close. He is my age so it should be fun to see each other. Plus we get along well.

Well I'm off to go for a jog.

I can't believe I will actually be leaving for Pennsylvania in basically two weeks. I am happy and sad about. It really is a great opportunity to get to know a new places when they aren't crazy busy. Plus I'll meet new people before school actually starts so that is good. I just wish I didn't have to leave so soon, but I had to leave sooner or later.

I really want to spend time with my friends before I move. I want to go ice skating... I have met 2 maybe 3 people who haven't completely dismissed the idea. I think it would be fun and a pleasant change. And I should probably start packing sometime... I think I'll do that next week though. I find it odd that I have barely started opening up to people now that I'm leaving which kinda sucks. Sigh... I still don't believe it yet...

On a side note- I really like jogging. It is very relaxing.

I can't have a solid 2 weeks without anything going wrong. My car decided to just stop working as I was getting onto the freeway so I ended getting in an accident that was my fault because my car starting rolling back. My car wouldn't even start or stay in neutral so we couldn't move it. Then right before the tow truck came, it decided to start. Fuck.

June was something to remember. A lot happened that I wouldn't think would happen. Some things I regret, but they happened so I have dealt with that. I have learned a lot in a sense. Things I couldn't learn from school. A few nights I reallly can't remember, I few I wish I didn't remember. Some really good things happened too. Wish there could have been more of those memories, but that is ok.

Loving someone and being in love with someone are two very different things. Yesterday was interesting. I was told some interesting things. I really just wish that I could be with that guy. I'm tired of what I've been doing lately because I honestly don't care about those guys at all. I just want somone that I care about and have them care about me.

I guess I just have to go into July with no regret. I'll be 17 soon so that should be interesting for a moment.
